| 学生のみなさんへ | 大学では骨軟部腫瘍などの希少疾患や転移性骨腫瘍の診療に主に携わっていますが，私は腫瘍に限らず整形外科全般を診ます． 骨軟部腫瘍の診療では，画像診断，病理組織，治療法（手術や薬物療法）と非常に多彩で全身を診ます．整形外科一般，運動器の知識・技能を礎として，がん診療に関する知識がしばしば必要になります．正しい診断をつけるためには，骨系統疾患や腫瘍類縁疾患などの知識も時に要します．骨軟部腫瘍，余り聞いたことがない言葉かもしれませんが，Specialist, Generalistとしての両面が必要とされる分野，謂わば整形外科における「何でも屋」です．研究はその希少性も相まって未開拓の領域が多くあります． 整形外科と骨軟部腫瘍の奥深さ，面白さを臨床，研究双方の観点からお伝え出来ればと思います． |
